Modifications vs value
Selling the vette soon; I don't want to see it go, but hard times call for drastic measures. I'm sure I'm going to get 1 of 2 types of potential buyers, teens wanting a joy ride and collectors. The car is I'd say 8.5/10 with a few bolt on modifications. I'll list them soon. Most likely I'm goign to chase off the teens and Jay Leno's. So to get the most for my car, I'm asking if I should revert any of these modifacations back to stock:
19 x 9.5 - 19 x 10.5 forged chrome wheels
SLP Exhaust
SLP Black wing intake
HID 6000k Conversion w/ ACA projector style headlamps
clear turn signals w/ switch back DRL LED blinkers (fast blink eliminator)
LED tail lights w halo Mod
Blacked out reverse lights (permanant)
Custom fiberglass sub box dual 8" w/ Amp Kenwood (easily removed)
Kenwood Component system in doors new 5 1/4 speaker in rear
(Coupe) cabin partition wall
Double Din console (no tray) w/ AVT-Z120BT HU. Stock black color
USB Ipod Mount hidden in center cosole. AUX video in glovebox
50% Potenza spare 30/295 (had flat had to replace both rear tires)
90% Toyo Proxes 4 on rear
B&M short throw shifter
I still have every stock part, with the exception of the wheels, radio, and speakers. This sounds like a sell ad LOL. But I have the money to revert, if I will be able to get more out of the car for doing it. My intuition tells me that these mods won't hurt my sell, but honestly you guys/gals have more experience than me. I want to sell w/o undoing the work and risking cosmetic damage.

I don't advocate giving free upgrades away to people who buy your car, make them spend the money to bring it back up to what you have. Or price the car with the upgrades a little more and when they cry "Well I can buy one for xxx dollars so much cheaper" then tell them quit wasting your time and buy that cheaper stock car and go away.

All your lighting and audio mods would be things I would probably wind up doing anyway, especially the audio.
The thing about the exhaust is that I really want to experience the OEM at first. And I do not want anything loud.
I do want my first corvette experience to be an OEM experience, to experience the car the way the Corvette saviors designed the C5.
I really think your vette is pretty much there.

I knew I could count on this site for honest opinions, good people here. When I do sell I'll be introducing the new owner to this forum.

I was planning on starting at 24k OBO to see where I'd get.
