It really is pretty easy to do. Just follow the instructions in the posts above and you'll be OK.

all the hyper links show how to install. I would like instructions to remove the filter for cleaning. Could not find anything there for doing that.

"all the hyper links show how to install."

How about a "reverse" procedure? I think that usually works.

It's literally remove one band clamp, pull the 1" tube off of the 90 degree fiiting, and then pull each front corner of the filter off of the metal studs on the front frame rail and it's out.

Default Remove-clean-oil-reinstall

First remove the PCV connector and the MAF sensor wiring harness, which is routed under the airbridge, by carefully prying the plastic prong clip slightly upward while pulling the connection apart.

Next I suggest removing the Blackwing, MAF and airbridge duct all together in one piece by first loosening the clamp at the coupler/airbridge and gently pulling it apart. Next carefully pull the airbridge duct from the grommets on the radiator cover. Finally pry the Blackwing from the front frame, popping it off of the two grommets holding it in place on the frame. Once removed, seperate the Blackwing Filter from the MAF for cleaning.

After you remove the Blackwing Filter, follow the instructions that come with the cleaning/oiling kit. Gently tap the Blackwing to loosen and remove the large debris and dirt. Do not tap on the filter media directly or you can damage it. You can also use a VERY SOFT bristled brush to gently remove the loose debris and particles but be extremely careful or you can damage the media material. Next spray the cleaner over the entire filter and the housing and let it soak and absorb or you can just soak the filter in a container of the cleaning solution. When you rinse the cleaning solution from the filter media, use a low pressure stream of water. Make sure to rinse it from the inside out through the dirty side, opposite of the normal air flow, so not to embed any of the dirt into the media or enter the inside of the filter. Gently shake the filter to remove the excess water and let it fully dry naturally. Don't use heat or compressed air to dry it. Once it's fully dried, apply an even coat of the oil covering the entire media surface. Do not over oil the filter or you will have stalling issues. Let it bleed out and dry before re-installing.

When you re-install the Blackwing, aligning the airbridge duct can be difficult so take your time to carefully press the MAF firmly back onto the Blackwing and tighten the clamp. This is important so that the grommets at the top of the radiator cover line up so that the Airbridge fits like it did with the factory stock airbox. Once you have it all together, put the front frame grommets in the Blackwing. (Using silicon spray on the rubber grommets and frame posts will make the assembly easier). Next press the entire reassembled unit back onto the posts in the frame. Then it's just a matter of pressing the Airbridge into place onto the grommets at the top of the radiator cover and installing the coupler. Make sure to run the MAF sensor wire under the Airbridge and then reconnect the PCV and MAF sensor connections. Be sure to tighten up on the clamps after everything is aligned and in place.
