There should be a rubber cap on the manually operated **** attached to each headlamp motor. Once it's off you can turn the **** either with your hand or an electric screwdriver. The screwdriver method is much easier but requires a little care not to strip your gears.

I generally try and gentle lift/support the headlight with one hand as I turn the black **** (described in the other post) it takes stress off the plastic gears and lessens the chance of stripping them.
I just raised them and disconnected the battery. The fuse is easier just make sure you get the right one. Dont want to be bitten by the lights if they close
Oh and deactivate the radio security feature first.
um... maybe im reading this wrong? but... turn the lights altheway to the on position, and then just switch it back 1 time.. lamps stay up, lights are off..

The lights turn off after 15 minutes and stow. Not good if your hands are down there!
