I remember a couple years ago driving through town one warm summer night. There was a dark colored C5 Vert in front of me. The exhaust was rumbling and the music was audible from the stereo. I said to myself " I gotta have one of those some day"
Very nice, I need to get some night shots of my car next year. Photographer I know is getting one of the rigs to mount to the car that you can do the turning picture, at night they look amazing.
Nice...what kind of camera? I have a Kodak & the night pics I take r always blurry.
A nice dslr makes a huge difference. You can adjust the settings a lot more. I know my photographer uses a tripod at night too (allows you to use a slower shutter speed to capture light but any movement makes it blurry).
i used a point and shoot without the flash. 90% of the pictures turned out like crap but a few wound up being good with a few touch ups. my brother has been borrowing my dslr for far too long. and im not longer running with a front plate. some laws are just meant to be broken.
just turn off your flash, shoot at an angle, low to the ground and turn on your garage light or park under a street light. makes for a quick good picture.

However, without flash camera shake is a major concern. Since my hands shake more than I would like, I use a tripod or other solid mount/surface, and then I used the self timer so the act of tripping the shutter doesn't shake the camera either.
now I have to go out and take some better pix of my car!
