I just bought the rear wheelhouses, cooling ductwork, Z06 rear brake ducts, front Z06 screens and a couple of Z06 badges for $275.00 off ebay. Am I stupid or what?

why? Hate to think what that stuff would cost retail!

...only if you don't own a Z06.
Functional rear brake ducts and front screens serve a purpose, however Z06 badges for a non-Z06?
I know a guy that bought the things to make his Firebird appear to be a Trans AM.......It looked like a Trans Am but all his buddies called it a Trans Aint.
Well it did seem like a good "deal" to me at the time. As far as the use of the items go they were a package deal, not something that I would have bought individually. As far as the badges go, I am the kind of person who would "de-badge" a Z06 instead of tacking something on that serves no purpose other than to state the obvious. Now the look of the screens on the front I have always liked but I didn't want aftermarket pieces so I will certainly use those. Cutting my rocker panels for the brake ducts will cause me considerable anguish for a while. I would not do that mod just for looks but I do like their functionality.
It's interesting to me as I read comments to this post and others of a similar subject that many people find it objectionable to use certain items on the exterior of the car, but no one says your creating a fake Z06 when you start adding 3 rib diffs, M12's, 243 heads and the rest. At any rate ,you never know some of these items may wind up in the parts for sale section, but it's always nice to have options.
