Anyone ever have any water leak issues in a zo6/Frc trunk area? After a wash yesterday, i noticed a small amount of water coming in under the back window/front of trunk area. Car has never been hit or had glass replaced.

If you're interested, I have a large Word file that discusses water leaks in the C5 - including I'm sure the Z06 model. If you'd like a copy, PM me your e-mail address.
I found this somewhere else. But it is common. They had these issues when they first designed the hardtop and thought they had it fixed. Well they did for a while but comes back.
A trip to the quarter car wash was all I needed. It is a small leak along the caulked body seam in front of the trunk seal. A little black caulk and she will be as good as new.
sounds like that's where it's coming from on yours.

Thanks I did find my problem for my leak. There was a crack water was seeping through and fast. Patched it up with RTV and now hope it doesn't leak again.

Anyways any help in tracking my leak, your files, would be highly appreciated!

I think that it is safe to say that manufacturers do not guarantee that their vehicles will not leak water when subjected to the high pressure stream from the wand at a DIY car wash. In other words, this would almost certainly not be considered to be a warrantable defect by the manufacturer. If your seals can stand up to this high pressure stream, it is more of a happy coincidence, rather than a design requirement / intent. With age and exposure to the elements, rubber seals will gradually loose their elasticity and their propensity to leak will increase.
Obviously, I did not observe how the vehicle was washed, so all I am suggesting is that you be sure that you have reasonable expectations, before you turn this "problem" into a project.
