After removing the TB to clean it I notice the inside of the intake manifold to be oily I can see and touch oil on the wall so I decided to pull the trigger on a catch can.
Installed mine after I swapped in the '04-05 LS6 valley cover and the LS2 throttle body on the TPIS modified LS6 intake manifold. I also used the C6 LS2 bellows for a factory look. Had to use the LS2 hose routing diagram.

how come the oil filler cap shows 0/40. Very nice engine though
Late C7 oil filler cap. Due to bearing clearances the engine actually requires 15w-50 all the time, but I can't seem to find a cap with that on it, that will fill. The C8 Z06 has a 5w-50 cap, but not sure that will fit either. I just don't want to have 5w-30 mistakenly added.
Hahaha - from experience - if any of you start hearing a whistling noise when your engine come to low rpm when out driving? Audible indicator the can is FULL because you forgot to drain it over almost a year of daily driving.
^^Good to know as I am adding one to mine. My Jeep lets me know when the CC is full with some preignition to go along with the CLOUD emitted from the tail pipe.
