Pro Targa?

Is there a model between the Z06 and base? I like the targa option just curious if there is a model or package that has more performance than base stock?

Are you calling my coupe "BASE"??

The coupe is the only model...from the factory...that has the targa top. But it isn't "base".....my coupe is loaded with all the options. No, it doesn't have the HP of the Z, but neither does the convertible.

Okay....I'm trying not to be insulted here.....

Sorry, but no. However, you can upgrade the performance of your coupe to where you have the targa with a heck of a lot more hp/torque on tap as well as better handling.

Hp wise, there is the LS1 and LS6, that's it. I would consider the Z51 to be better than a "base" car though.

There was no "base model". There were 3 body styles; targa coupe, convertible and fixed roof coupe (FRC). The Z06 was a low option, track specific fixed roof coupe with the LS6 engine, and different trans gearing with attention to light weight abd drivetrain strength. The Coupe and Convertible models offered more in the way of creature comforts.
