That is a perfect combo and YES! do the C5 Z06 springs that is what I did and I couldn't be more happy with them!

Well my combo is a little different but not by much, I have c5 z springs, 04 shocks, and sways. It rides much better now even though it is lower plus it rides much flatter than before. Still need to fine tune the ride height its pretty close.

I see a lot of people are going with just upgrading to the c6 z06 shocks and c6 z521 sway bar, what ways are you guys ordering them? Used? Ebay? I am trying to find the most affordable way to get these for my 1999 FRC

If I had to do anything different I would go with bilstein shocks or kybs. C6z shocks OK but looking to go stiffer shy of getting coilovers.
