it all depends on the mood when I awake. If it's really nice out, I drive the 03 C5 or 11 M56x, if it raining, it's the 11Fx35 and if it's snowing...01 GMC 1500HD 4x4.
But mostly, the C5 is under the butt having fun!!
I drive my 00 Coupe every day when it's cooler but not snowy. Warm or hot days I ride my motorcycle pretty much everywhere because of the 45mpg. Nasty weather mandates the K2500HD.
Gotta drive the vette to work for the rest of the week. Stupid piece of crap Mazda/ford decided it's not gonna run in moist conditions. (have wires, dist cap & rotor and spark plugs coming from Rockauto for weekend task)
any questions... actually we don't get much snow here in North Alabama, so this was a rare occasion. But my '99 FRC has been my daily driver for the past 5 years at 100 miles per day (at 241k miles now), and I DD a '94 C4 for 1.5 years before that. It's funny that a lot of weekends the Corvette stays in the garage because I am hauling kids and other things around.
Congrats on the 241K miles! Any major issues that you have had?
I have only had 2 parts failures from wear/tear - the clutch master cylinder and a seal in the steering rack. Then there have been 2 failures caused by me - broke the driver's side output shaft in the differential launching at the dragstrip, and broke a synchro key in 4th gear making laps on a road course.
It's a little deceiving though - I have replaced heads, camshaft, oil pump, intake manifold, headers, clutch, shifter, full exhaust, seats... you know, little stuff to make it faster and more comfortable. So at this point the only bone stock drivetrain components are the block and rotating assembly and all of the engine accessories (alt, starter, water pump, PS pump). All in all it is holding up very well, is dependable, and performs nicely when I lean on it.
I just made a couple dragstrip passes this past Sunday afternoon. Ran the same Challenger in my avatar and beat him again...

Yep, sure was. February 1st, 2010. Around 20" I believe before it was all said and done.
Here I am. We hadn't had much snow in the past couple years so I played stupid and left the mower on my Tractor. I got it plowed OK but the mower was in the way some. I would plow, then wait a while, then go plow again, to keep it from piling up too high.
I drive my FRC every chance I get but it doesn't get daily driver duty as I haven't found a trailer hitch heavy enough for my 16' enclosed construction trailer. Plus I have to make a little time for my other girl.
I switch between an 85 Silverado and a Nissan Titan 4x4 for daily work duties.
