I like how much meaner it looks with 305s on the back. Do you have any pics of how well the fronts tuck in?
They don't stick out at all. I really like them. The only downside is that any grooves in the road pull the steering wheel left or right.
Cornering has improved noticeably.
I really like the Nittos. They hook a lot better than the bald, stock size, all seasons I had on there.
I still destroy them in first and often in second gear (402 with .390s) Friday when I slammed second gear it hooked. My rearview mirror fell off!

I bought two pair of genuine GM, Z06 rear wheels! All 4 are 18x10.5. Front tires are Michelin 285/35/18; rears are Nitto 555R 305/35/18 extreme drag
Wheels have been powdercoated black and I bought new black center caps.

I still have the chrome ones. I like having the option to swap them out as the mood strikes me.
I like it. Do you think 305 are tight or could you go 315's. Just curious cause I like big tires but don't want to throw stuff all over the fenders
Nittos generally run a little smaller than BFGs or MTs. It might work.
"I don't know." is the real answer.
As for lowering it, it's already lowered a little on the stock bolts. I'm hesitant to lower it further because Louisiana roads are terrible. I'll probably give in and do it eventually though.
