Over the years, a lot of sports cars have been built by raiding the parts bin so to speak. My Brit cars are examples. From what I have learned, GM went a different route with the C5. Most of the car is unique as parts go. I guess they figure that is worth a premium price. I bet the reflector won't be found on a Chevy Cavalier??
But I agree, look for a used one. The difference between new and used C5 parts is dramatic to say the least.

If you want to try something different, I think JW Motoring offers an LED, lighted reflector mod. However, I'm not sure if the mod comes with the modified reflector or just the LED lights.
