Need Help: Whats it called
Just bought a 01 vert and behind the drivers seat at your left shoulder there is a cover with a hinge on top of the quarter panel inside trim. There is about 2 inches broke off of my hinged cover and I need one but don't know what to ask for. Thanks for the help, and I am glad to be a part of a great forum.

I know exactly what you are talking about cause mine is broke too. I got a replacement from a forum member parting a Vert. The hinged lid comes as an assembly with the upper piece of trim on the B Post.
I would post a WTB in the C5 sales section. My guess is GM will want a fortune for it. I think I paid 50 or 60 bucks...don't really remember but it was less than a hundred.

I looked in the parts manual but its not obvious. it looks as though the whole piece rather than just the flap needs to be replaced. I'd check with one of the Forum parts vendors. Bob at Fichtner Chevrolet will help.

I replaced mine about 8 months ago with a new one for about $90. It is the whole assm. not just the flap. You have to remove the shoulder harness to get the assm. off The shoulder harness pivot which is a threaded bushing with a shallow nut affixed to the bushing was a real bugger to get loose. Destroyed mine and had to get another for a couple bucks.The dealer also said they can get the LT side which you need but the RT is no longer available. I checked out in the garage if I still had a part # but must have pitched it

I believe it is 10418408 runs around $80. discounted.
It's called a "panel" go figure.
I'm checking now to verify this is the right one. I had to replace my driver's side too. I think the seat belt holder is a torex screw. If my memory is correct.
