Default Caliper cover color question

what color would look right on a Mag Red II? the standard red caliper is a bit too bright and is going to clash...

anyone have black, white or the silver on? pics?

Thanks in advance,

Agreed. If your calipers are looking bad why not just clean them up and paint them? It's not that difficult and you can do it with them on the car if you want. I polished then painted a set of ls1 calipers and installed them on my 97 z28 a few years ago and they came out great. They make really good high temp caliper paints.
Caliper covers are really kind of ricey IMO.

I'm not a fan of the caliper covers either, but if you really like them, I'd go with either silver or black (unless you want to do a custom job and paint them body color).

Removing mine from the car and cleaning them up and painting - $7 for a can of VHT Brake Paint, $5 For new crush washers for the banjo fittings.

No covers to fall off or mess with is a much better option

Meant to say that gloss black would look good with Mag red.

I also took my brackets to a local shop for powder coating, I think he charged $40 for all four.

Nothin' like the real thing - here are mine, powdercoated in Mag Red with silver brackets.

I'm not a real fan of the covers but I think black with a silver Corvette script would look nice.

Caliper covers look really good as long as you back light them with LED's.

I think your car would look good with the calipers painted gray and Corvette letters painted in Mag Red.

If you paint the calipers, how do you get the "Corvette" letters to be silver and clean looking?

Go back and sand off the paint with a block of wood
