he just said it was a GMPP ls6 - he made it the subject of his post, i didnt see it at first either. i assume that means 243 heads/z06 or equivalent cam as well, which makes more sense. still 2 dyno's with ~30hp gains at the wheel. that's no joke for just an exhaust.

Yea I still dont see where it says Ls6 but it does make sense, Im really curious as to what my car is making now after the super pros.
Also the auto must have gained more because it has more parasitic loss in the drive train.
so if i were to get the LG's long tube on my 03 ZO6 with just a cold air and a good tune what would i be looking at 30ish more to the rear tires??
Thats what it looks like, maybe even a little more with a high flow air filter. You may see a little less gains if you go with the street version of the headers though.
ok so i guess im confused alittle... what is the difference in the two what would be better for my app... no motor mods but looking to do a cam later down the road but not any time soon

Personally it was super pros or nothing for me but anyways on to the differences. The pros have a race style merge collector and a full 3 inch tubing all the way to the catback. The X-pipe is also much nicer than the one on the streets as it is welded together versus stamped. The streets also neck down to 2.5 inch after the cats just like the factory system and have a lower cost collector which I believe is also stamped.
The pros should net you a higher initial gain and will support more power in the end.
I had a GMPP LS6 Crate Engine installed a few years ago, then last year I went to LG Motorsports for the following additions and a custom tune, it has great performance.
> K&N's Generation II FIPK®
> LG Motorsports C5 Street Series Long Tube Headers
> CORSA Xtreme Cat-back System with Pro-Series Tips
> 01-04 Mass Air Flow Sensor 5 Wire Upgrade
Hope this helps/clears up any confusion...
Later . . . . . .

Reason: added one more upgrade item...
[B]XS POWER[B]LT's with Cross Country X Pipe into TI catbacks. Gives you 3" pipe to catbacks and less weight (less weight = horsepower in effect). And the sound...wow!
