Pretty cool.
Those cameras are awesome. I've had one for few months now.
One suggestion though, lose the music in the video, we want to hear catback notes.
That was fun to watch. Maybe its my old computer but I never get a steady stream so the music is broken up, happens on all you tube stuff which is disappointing. Thanks for sharing
Did some sound testing this evening and its pretty good at blocking out my exhaust except at the stop lights, and then its really faint. As for that little car.... I went to pass him and he sped up and I had a bogie on my 12 so... drop a gear and disappear was not an option.
Try mounting the camera on the rear quarter somewhere. Probably pick up better exhaust sound, mine does fine capturing the exhaust there at least at WOT.
Using the open back, non-water proof rear door on the case? That is supposed to work better than the closed off waterproof back with windnoise actually.
Love my GoPro too! I actually just upgraded to the Hero2. Can't wait to try it out in the spring when I get the Z out of storage!
Question, though: why only 360p? The Hero takes native high definition videos, so you should really edit, render and upload them as HD as well. I usually render at 720p. They get kinda big and take a while to upload, but it's totally worth it!
Since we're sharing vids, posting off my phone so if link don't work just search "c5zdoor" on YouTube. It wasn't recorded using a goPro, I used my canon point & shoot camera screwed on to a suction cup mount.
