Rail savers or skid stiffeners

Are you scraping the air dam as you back out of the drive? If so, none of the products will help. Incidentally, the air dam is hinged to bend backwards but only when you're moving forwards. If its scraping going backwards, it's pushing against the hinge so it could be damaged. If thats what's happening take care not to damage the air dam.
I fitted rocker rail protectors which are long aluminum bars which screw onto the underbody next to the rocker panels. I also fitted frame savers which are small wheels fitted to the skid bar. Recently, one of the vendors has offered "fangs" which are protective sheaths that cover the exposed section of the skid bar.
Rocker rails avoid any scraping of the rocker panels if you drive over high obstructions. Must admit, it would have to be quite a high obstacle to do that unless the car is lowered. They have the additional advantage of allowing you to jack the car from the rocker rails rather than fitting pucks.

Frame savers are fitted by drilling the skid bar and slotting in a bar and nut to hold them in place. They take the impact if you hit a steep ramp or driveway and prevent damage to the skid bar.

I have both, and they have been put to good use on numerous occasions.
