Default Which would you buy?

2 identical cars. Both loaded. Both extremely nice. Yellow coupes.
First car... 2001 With 42k miles for 18,500
Second car... 2003 with 13k miles for 23,500
Which car would you buy?

Offer $20K for the '03, and settle for anything in between.

Made some good improvements in 01 that carried on through the years, not much difference in 03, except it makes it 50th Anniversary which is nice, I would drive both cars and see which is better cared for and tighter and drives better!
Either one if all equal will be nice, got an 01 and love it!

This is good advise. If you have the extra money go with the newer car. If you decide to sell you will get the money back with loew miles and a newer car. If you don't have the extra money they both sound good.

Thx so far I'm leaning towards the 03. The idea of a 13000 car is nice. Should have one this weekend.

I'd go with the '03, especially if you can get them to come down on the price a bit.

No coming down. Both prices are firm. Both prices seam to be fair.

I'd probably go with the 03 but you never know if a price is firm until you show up and make an offer. Make a lower offer and see what they say.

I'll say go for the '01 too. $5 grand is a good chunk of change.

Default nice

the 03 sounds nice because after owning it for 5 years you will still have under 50k miles on it.

Default Go for the '01

If you could park both cars side by side, would you see $5,000 worth of difference? I would say not. The '01 with approx 3,800 miles per year sounds like a well taken of car. And 42K miles is nothing. You will not be sorry. Put the $5K savings away for your next car purchase!
