This is due to their low rolling resistance. Remember, these are the only runflats able to go 200 miles while flat.
I heard that the newer GY's only get 50 miles because they are not as thick and thusly run quieter;or is that the ones for the C6's? If they get 200 miles then they are the original ones that I got on my '02 and '04, and they were absolutely terrible. they were very noisy and I got 27,000 on the '02 and 17000 on the '04, which isn't good mileage. So if GY hasn't improved on those, then I'll just stick with my Michelin run flats.

I had Goodyears before the Michelin Pilot Sport ZP's that I have now. Road noise dropped to almost nil with the Michelin's and the ride is much smoother, I would definitely recommend them. I got them from tire rack and I was very happy with their price, delivery and service. Make sure to choose an installer with good reviews and high ratings.

I also have OEM GYs with 50k+ on them. How many miles are you Michelin guys getting from a set as I will need to buy soon.

I personaly like the OEM Good Years. They look great, handle great and wear pretty good too. My 04 is on her second set, and I'll be buying them again when it's replacement time. As far as road noise, it's a Corvette, not a Lexus. I expect a little road noise.
