exhaust tips

Does anyone have any ideas how to clean and shine up stock exhaust tips on a 02?

I've used a wet Brillo pad and then some chrome polish !

Havent tried it but was told oven cleaner work wonders. Make sure not to get any on painted surfaces, worth a try and cant hurt anything. my .02

I used a buffer and some compound on my ti's and it turned out really well.

3 stainless compound rouges varying in grit so you can use the appropriate one depending on how bad they look.

I use Simple Green.....let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse and shine.

i use mothers polish and a rag.... several coats later they are mirrored and have a nice protectant.

LG Pro Long tubes, no cats, B & B Bullets...I dont even bother. Mine look like a bad chimney stack! Post some before/after pics so we can see how good it came out.

X2, make a paste on a non abrasive pad, then buff like a shoe shine. Finish off with Meguiar's metal polish.

Never cared about the tips before, this is a mean car,right? But a friend convinced me to do it, and it looks great shining against an otherwise all black car.
