I received my race mesh grilles today for my torch red 03
Coupe. They are stainless in black and are well done.
I have all the fronts and rears no sides. Now having second thoughts
about putting them in, need some input from you guys and gals.
Install or leave stock?
I have the ones on the front but I don't like the ones on the side if you have side body moldings but I also hate the look with the side body moldings.
I ended up with the West Coast Corvette version which modifies the existing fog light housing and opens up the back with mesh, you can barely tell looking at the car, and I still get the fresh air.
I like the Race Mesh on the side coves as I always thought the front cove looked sort of empty wide open.
I do agree that some of the cheaper mesh screens looks like Home Depot Gutter Guard (which some are), however the Racemesh pattern is much nicer than most competitors.

I've got the mesh screens on the fog light inserts, the front brake ducts and in the gill area. I happen to like the look. Since you've already bought them, I'd install them. If you don't like them, you can always take them off.

I say go for it!
Great pics....I have been wanting to replace my old ones and never really got to see the difference between the two. Big one for sure and will want to get them ordered this winter.
Yep, Racemesh in all orifices. I have the black powder coated version and they're not even noticeable from any sort of distance. They definitely cover the ugly cove openings. Who wants to look at dull, gray plastic inner fender liners? Overall, I think they lend a more finished look, and they do tend to keep sizable debris out of the front openings as well. You won't find better quality than Racemesh.
I gottem all around....even in the rear valence vents....
I got them on the front, sides and the rear valance. I think they look great. But I had to have help doing the sides. Very happy with it. My car doesn't have the BSM and I found the stainless grills a great way to fill in the holes. IMHO
