I have been thinking of selling her for a little while now. I'm just wondering what a fair price would be on my car. I know I am going to lose a lot of money on it. I have over 12 thousand in the car right now. Just put in a brand new LS6 engine and ls7 clutch in over a month ago. Right now it has 93k miles on it. Would $21k be too much to ask?
Why do you want to sell? I bought my car 6 months ago for 23000 and it isn't even close to what you have. You have an awesome car. you certainly could get more for it.

You've got a great looking car there. May I ask why you are selling - are you going for another Vette? The mileage will be a factor, but nice mods you've done and a new LS6 is a plus.
21K is good, but the buyer has to like your mods but you know how some buyers will react. Don't care you just bought, installed...whatever, this is what the blue books says...ect.
Thanks. I guess because I have a.d.d. I always trick out a car to the full extent then get bored with it. Just looking for something new and is a sleeper.

Thats what I am affraid of. A dealer had offered me $13,000. wth? The KBB on this is just over 16k...
I would not sell because sometimes the grass looks greenier or you see a newer model a friend might have and next thing you know all your friends got c6 vettes and you still sporting a c5. Although you will only get one third of your mod values its still your baby. Imagine going to a car show and seeing your car on display you will either love it or hate it and hate the new mods the new owner has done. I would sell it to a local friend with the option to buy it back should he or she loses interest that way you can at least stop kicking yourself. I have seen too many members looking on line for the one that they should have kept plus if this was your first vette you will almost always want it back. Just my 2 cents. Richard
Heres pic of my first vette from 1995 and yes i still own it http://daytimedaytonapics.shutterfly.com/#n_3
Maybe I will keep it. Put too much work into it. Maybe I do need to find a cheaper hobby. Lol
I think that is the wise decision!! YOU might as well get some enjoyment out f YOUR time, money and effort. Even if you got around your asking price, you'd still be taking a hit and letting someone else get all the extras for free so to speak!! Enjoy the fruits of your labor!!
Don't sell it, after all the mods you put in and the new engine...you'd be kicking yourself silly everyday. I got a friend who had one of the most incredible white C5's and he let it go. It wasn't long before he regretted that move and bought a C6 to start modding all over.
