T/C Metro area---Just received a call from my daughter and she was laughing. She said a silver C5 was behind her and was struggling pretty bad just to move around. Said he missed a light cycle b/c he couldn't get going. Today is not a good day for vettes in MN. However, I admire his determination. Any other vette sitings in your snow laden town?

I had mine out yesterday and got stuck a couple times, but was able to get out of it. I went to work because I didn't have power, but work did, then power went out at work, so I had to drive back home.

BUT I just got power back at home an hour ago. First thing I did is fire up the griddle and made pancakes.

Do they spread the salt on your roads nice and heavy like they do here?

Sp far this winter here in South Carolina we have had to endure daytime temperatures as low as FIFTY degrees. Please send winter survival gear ASAP!

MN here too. I remember last winter during the "snowpocalypse" when it dumped 12-14 inches on us there was a nice Silver C5 completely abandoned in the middle of Portland ave. in downtown Minneapolis. It sat there for hours...poor thing.

Made me glad mine was safe at home.

They put down a "de-icer" solution when they know the cold is coming. Then, depending on where you go you'll encounter sand and some salt. Luckily the temperature is rising a bit and things are starting to melt. Our snow events usually don't last long, but this was pretty bad for this area.

If you have to drive your corvette in the snow you need to jack it up and put on 4 HD snow tires from a monster truck.... or get a truck for the snow days, and keep the salt off your vette...

It was 82F here today. I saw several Corvettes. They were having no issues.

No snow here, but I can sympathize with the guy - been there, done that.
