I wonder how the Plastic Dip would work? One thing about it, if it did get dirty and would not clean up you can simply peel it off.

That's another good idea! I have the plasti-dip on the front end of my everyday car (Misubishi Eclipse) and the coating is holding up extremely well to stone chips, car washes, etc. The durability is excellent. It's been on the car since August and still looks perfect.
