Simple question, took the tpms off my wheels and one was not working and was going to replace it,but I sold the wheels, anyway I got distracted when taking them off an got them mixed up. Is there anyway to test the sensors to detirmine which is the bad one ?

Take a magnet to them while you program them using the DIC, You don't need to have them mounted to program them, Just mark them with a RR,LR,RF,LF so you know where they go and you won't have to program them again.

sounds pretty simple for me,, i have programmed them a few times when on the car, but one keeps coming up bad after I learn it,it last for a day or so, then get the message again.I am thinking if I programmed them and put them on some wheels that don t have them and go to the trouble of breaking the bead and installing them and mounting them, I will still have a bad sensor. BUT, I will know where it is !!!

I bought 4 new ones from tire rack for 38 each. Your car is a 2002, I would replace all of them, They are at the end of the life span.

Thanks for your input Mr Bill, you always have good answers
or solutions for everyone. I hope Mrs Bill knows what she has
Sounds like you bought the early version of TPM, The later ones are only 38 and I don't think shipping would be 17 bucks. My local Kragen also has them and they priced matched for me the tire rack price.
