c5 center console upgrades?
Weird question, I am picking up a 2002 C5 this week, I love the car but not a huge fan of the center console. Obviously the CD player is an easy fix, however the control pannel (for the heat and such) isn't. I was wondering if any one here knew of a alternative or aftermarket upgrade? Thanks

Cant say I've ever seen an after market HVAC unit in 9 years on the Forum. it's not the best looking panel ever designed.
I fitted the black chrome control ***** to try to improve the looks.

Do do have any pictures of that installed? I'm curious what they look like since I am considering getting them as well. Also, I've never seen an aftermarket hvac, but there is a forum member on here who installed led's behind it and it looked a lot better. Double D mods also makes a very nice center stack to house everything, including a double din

Probably not much you can do with the HVAC controls, although I remember someone here posting up a pic where they put CF over the front of the controls and it looked very good. Otherwise, let Dennis at Double D Mods do some custom work for you on the console area - paint or leather wrapped (or combo of both) would add some nice touches to the interior.

I have the 2004 digital HVAC unit and always wondered whether or not owners or early model run C5s could swap out their dial **** HVACs for the later model digital HVACs.
