Having issues with the C5 forums............
Anyone else have this problem?? 
A few weeks prior to buying my '98 Pace car (mid December 2011), I started checking C5 CF (both tech and general) to get any and all info regarding known and unknown issues of the C5's. I even posted a couple of threads for more info.
My problem is this..... I now have this insatiable desire (no... it is a need) to not only check every day on new threads, but also check several times a day on new posts for these threads. Also, my list of 'to-do's' (read - spend $$) has increased dramatically. I've already bought some interior dress-up stuff from MidAmerica for the console and door handles and new HVAC bulbs. But I want MORE! HID's, HUD, double din bezel, LS6 intake, headers etc..

Not strange in the slightest. I'm on here several times a day, attempting to do my little part to help other owners. In doing that, I also learn a lot from others smarter than I am, which also helps me to help others. You will be the same in the long run and knowledge here on these very complex cars, is invaluable.

Nice ride you have there, You know it only get worse. I had to sell my wife so I could get more mod money.
As far as HID lights go, Do yourself a favor and just get the projectors right off without going the HID in the stock housings, You won't regret it one bit.

If you see the name "JW Motoring" or "Dennis" or "Double D Mods", run, do not walk. No 12 step programs available and this is worse than "crack" and potentially more expensive. But it FEELS so good!

i have a C3 and a C5. so i pretty much decided it was just easier to put a computer in the garage so i could quit running inside to check something. one of them is getting something done at least every weekend. the hardest part so far is remembering which forum says mobil1 is gold and which forum says mobil1 is dog ****. you do not want to confuse the two.

Happens to all of us at some point. Staying out of C5 parts for sale helps, but it's harder than it sounds.
