Wheel re-finish input.
Hey guys I was thinking of refinishing the wheels I have now. I really want to get some TrueForged or some D2Forged wheels but those are way to much for my blood right now.
I guess that the ones I have now are some BBS 3-piece wheels. Not 100% if they are 3-piece or not... They were on the car when I bought it.
I dont really care for the way these look but since I dont I figuered I would play around with the way they look and maybe I will like the design better.
Dont know if that makes sense or not.
Dont really like the all black wheel so thats out..
Let me know what you guys think...
Thanks for the input.
Robert

There doesn't seem to be a "None of the above" on your poll. That would be my vote.

Hi Robert,
I believe your BBS are two-piece wheels, and are excellent quality. The finish is a bit dull on your black car (IMO); I've seen ads in the car mags for a company that does PVD wheel coating in chrome or black chrome, which sounded very interesting, although I have no particular knowledge about the company or the process. Good luck whatever you decide.

I thought about some C6 wheels. I can get a non chrome takeoff from the dealr for $495 minus the tires. Is that a good deal or no?
I do sort of like the C5 "10 spoke" stocks but am not sure...
I just wanted to play around with these wheels since I have them.
Now if someone wants to trade me Im up for that...
But it looks like so far the chrome finish is the popular vote.

C6 wheels are just another stock wheel. You have some very nice wheels on already, I would either polish them or have them chromed.

On another note I found out that these are able to be "reverse mounted."
So I will have to see how mine are when I get it back.
Whats your guys opinion on that?
