What's with the lowering craze? I don't get why you would want to scrape bottom all the time?

Glad I'm not the only one.
My front rubber spoiler hits on many driveway aprons and some speedbumps.

The front plastic spoiler was DESIGNED to scrape. Hence, why it is on hinges. Not going to hurt anything.

Torch, I do know that,(didn't know it was on hinges) but for me, why push it since I like the stock height .

It makes the car's stance look 10x better by eliminating some of the huge gaps between the fender lip and tops of the tires. I'm sure it lowers the center of gravity a tiny bit too.

I'm sure those gaps are there for a reason. And I don't think lowered looks any better. my .02 cents......

Then why did GM install ride height adjustment bolts from the factory and even give instructions on how to do so???

So then does that mean that GM set the ride height from the factory with the jacked-up 4x4 look for all of the hillrods and their lifted trucks???

There are "many" forum members who love the lowered stance look that are not ricers. And yes, there for a while GM gave you a CD in your package when you purchased you new corvette on how to lower it on stock bolts.
