what kind of brand shocks would you but on your vett Bilstein or Monroe ?

This post started with a very poorly written question regarding shocks on a C5. It has since been edited. Let's pretend it did not happen and that the OP is just looking for advice on possibly replacing his shocks.

Lots of good information on this forum. I'm sure someone that knows all about shocks will be glad to help you. All I know about shocks is that you have to have them.

If I were looking to replace my shocks at a reasonable price, I would go with either the Bilsteins or the C6 Z06 shocks. Both will give you a good ride.
