Default Possible C5 Rear Diffuser? Opinions needed.

We are in the shop today playing around with the idea of a bolt on C5 Rear Diffuser. This is a C6 we made several mods to get a rough draft. We are gong to get this one into a fiberglass full fitting version. We put some aluminum in the exhaust vent area for picture purposes only. This area will more than likely be screened. We would like to hear your ideas and opinions.

Default ttt

Looks like well on your way man. Do something with finn in the back but that goes under the car a little more so the air can get from under the car.

Looks awesome just make sure you leave clearance for all styles of exhaust that come fitted for the factory style bumper

It will follow the factory opening we have now. More pics coming, we are fitting the other side now.

The idea we have is to put screens there like the front screens on Z06's. We will put a filler plate 2" behind the screen so what you see through the screen is black, not the factory bumper vents underneath. It will be functional to allow heat to escape from the exhaust. We are still kicking around ideas on how to do it.

Any suggestions?

I love the idea of a C5 rear diffuser, but can someone PLEASE make something original? If I wanted a C6, then I would have bought one. Why would I want to add something to my C5 that a gazillion C6s already wear? How about at least using the APR or Breathless C6 rear diffuser instead? At least they look different than the OEM C6 unit.

+10 points for effort.
-10 for execution.
