DIC codes can be pulled while driving .. just discovered
in addition to the normal way (per the manual) with the key on and the engine stopped
just hold "options" and press "fuel" 4 times
... and with my eyes on the road
i have a nagging U1016H (history not current) code that pops up intermittently. I have a new, strong battery and these communication codes are apparently no big deal assuming everything works
i suspect some of my Corvette brothers might not have known this like I didn't
Anyway, I like little tricks like this.

Done this so many times for diagnostic purposes - it is a fantastic option on the C5 - C6's don't even have this feature

I just learned that i can reset my tcs lights coming on during a drive by doing it going done the road, doesn't happen that often and i know that its about time to send it off to ABS rebuilders. I am getting the code for the little resister in the module, but it only happens once in a while, so planning on taking it out when not using the car, and i know i can drive it while its being fixed, and yes i have checked and cleaned the grounds.
