just installed ruff racing 281 19x8.5 rims that were off a z06 mine is a 99 frc . the front caliper clearance is about a finger nail thickness does this seem right ?The wheel spins with no rubbing issues but dam close

I would think that with the stock front rim size on an FRC being 17" in diameter, the 19" rim should have plenty of room unless you have a big brake kit. I guess as long as it spins freely it is OK but that seems like a very small clearance.

The clearance he's worried about is between the caliper and the spokes - not the barrels. Diameter doesn't matter. You can put a 1/8" spacer if you want a safety barrier.
