Default Kwiklift, need alternative

I had ordered my Kwiklift in late Oct. 2011, they kept delaying, said they had tooling problems and being a very patient person I played along. Anyway long story cut short we all know what happened to Kwiklift, I've been looking for a used 7K capacity as I want to use it on my truck as well as my vette in the NJ area, or elswhere if I can find one that someone is willing to ship at a reasonable price but haven't been able to find one, what is the best alternative ? My garage has an 8' ceiling and I have a hot air furnace and electric garage door track to contend with, so no post lift for sure

I know you said no post lifts but I have a Max Jax low profile lift for low ceilings and I really like it. One of the good things about it is that its portable, all you have to do is have anchor holes drilled somewhere else to use it anywhere. Just a thought, I got mine on sale about a year or so back for $1800 delivered. Good luck finding what your looking for.

How do you like it so far? Costco recently began selling them. Price went up to 2200 shipped not too long ago but still a good deal for those challenged with a non ideal garage. Is it easy to move disassembly and store in a corner?

I really like it, if it went up a couple a more inches it would be OK but nothing I can't live with. It has 6 bolts for each side to take loose and wheelson it to roll it if you want to move it but so far I've just left it in place and just park the vette between the posts. And for the OP I just seen a Kwiklift for sale in the parts section if you want to take a look.
