It was a beautiful day here so I took a nice ride and had put a few miles on my 2000 coupe and everything was fine but on the way back home I got the dreaded DING DING then "check active handling " and then "check ABS" after hiting a few bumps but when I stopped for a stop light, I shut the car off then on again and the warnings went away and I drove for a couple for a miles then it came back on. Again I shut the car and on again and it went away. when I got home ,I pulled the codes and I got .......... 28TCS-C1225H... then BO-RFA ..... U1096H..
U1064 ....U1016U. the C1225 means Excessive RF WHEEL Variation)
Any clues way I would get this and why it would go away by shutting the car off ?? Thanx

The C5 is known for random codes, I would reset them and see if it comes back, If you have a weak battery it will also cause issues. I see all your codes are "H" and nothing current, Which is a good thing. If you are going to have TC/AH issues I am not sure your unit is able to be fixed.

Are most times associated with a loose ground point at G105 located under the block on the driver's side. Loose grounds are a major source of thrown codes in our cars. Get her up in the air and check that ground point,,,bet you can wiggle it. Remove the bolt, clean it and the connections reinstall bolt with a good lock washer and some dielectric grease. Clear codes and go for another bumpy cruise.
Happened to me. Bill Curlee taught me. Hope it works for you!
I had the car up on Garage ramp the other day and they showed me some movement in the left front bearings which I already made a appointment to change it out , would that cause that( Excessive LF wheel variation) ?? it says RH in the code chart but a Forum member informed me that it is actually a LH code.......C1225
Another thing to try is to pull the electrical connector on the back of the hub and give it a good clean. Sometimes dirt or corrosion in the electrical connector can pop a code.
well I checked the connectors on the front and they appear to be clean so I took another ride and this time I got a C1235 which is a RR wheel connection?? I mean WTF??
