Oil Change Question ?
I changed the oil on my 2003 LS1 and overfilled it by a little less the a pint. Can that cause a problem somewhere down the road?

Extra oil !
Thank you, I'm sometimes so **** about the corvette. I'll let a wash go and not use it if I have a order from one of our sponsors like a bottle of 'special' car wash. This is the one thing that drives our wives crazy. My wife use to bug the SH(*& our of me till one day she started in about the Vette, and I said "Joanne do I drink too much ? (I'm a friend of Bill's) and she said no. and I asked do I gamble ? again a No. I asked if I look at other women or screw around on the side? Once more came a No. So "I said is this really a problem ?"
So I don't have any problems other than that of my own making. I'm sick and I need help, well maybe not so much, but the Corvette sometimes gives me something to 'De-tach' myself from the rest of society.

The book says 6.5 qts but I find I need nearer 7 to show full. In fact when I only added 6.5 I got an oil low light quite soon afterwards. I'd say the extra will probably give you the right level.
As the guys say, owners who track the car normally use 7 so no issues.
