TBrent thanks, I've always admired your ride.
The mallett pieces came together by coincidence. Both situations happened at Carlisle. The link earlier in the thread explained the hood. As for the wheels, after purchasing the car 4 years ago from a small corvette dealership in Pa I took my first trip to Corvettes at Carlisle. While relaxing at the car a man approached me and says he use to own the car. After talking a bit he told me he had the black mallett wheels in his garage that he would sell. It took me almost two years before I purchased them from him. At the time I didn't think the car would look good with black wheels. He still had them when I checked back with him.

I am running 41mm motorsport-tech adaptors on the rear wheels for now. Haven't decided if I am going with CCW wheels or I am leaning towards having the malletts widened to 13 inches, currently 11.

Here is the car shortly after I purchased it a little over 4 years ago.

Thanks so much for the kind words mefly! That's pretty wild how things came together for you with the old owner... You have a tuff decision ahead of you for sure! If you opt to get a different set of wheels I hope you don't sell the mallets.. If I had a set I would definitely keep them as long as I had the car.. Your ride looks wicked hawt Thanks again and keep us posted if you make anymore changes or just polish her up... I got new pics added to my "done right" folder.
