I just have bought a 2002 convertible. I drove it over 18 hours. Everything worked fine. Two hours before i arrived I noticed my lights do not go down and I did not have taillights or dash board lights. I replaced the 10 amp fuse and my lights went down. The fuse blew again and keeps on blowing when I replace it and put my lights on. Any ideas to whats going on or where to start? Thanks.
Sounds like a short somewhere. Check the headlight motor connections. Maybe disconnect one motor at a time to see if you can isolate the problem to one side or the other.

I wouldn't keep stuffing fuses in if they keep blowing until you have checked the circuit for the cause of the high current draw/short.
