squeaking noise

My vette makes a squeaking noise, at first i thought it was the belt but it goes away after i drive it a few miles when it warms up. But every time i turn the vette on it makes a squeaking noise. Any ideas?

It can be the belts, idler pulleys or Harmonic balancer (among other things) Check the belt condition then the Idler pulleys. Harmonic balancers are also famous for delaminating and develop a bit of a wobble.
