Here's a couple pics of my exhaust tips. Just had them installed yesterday. This is the B&B Bullet system with their optional black tips. When I was deciding which exhaust to go with I searched for pics of the black tips and couldn't find much. Hope these pics might help someone out there make a decision.
I had the tips on my GHL bullets powder coated black several months ago. I got tired of working so hard to keep the tips nice and clean.
I love the way they look.
Here are some additional pics...lighting isn't the greatest outside today. They do stick out a little further than I would like, but I guess that's just how the B&B bullets are designed..
maybe if it was like a glossy pc'ed black... of course i dont think its bad looking now. just maybe the gloss black would make it that much more better
dooode!!!! thanks a lot for posting this. I've got the mil yellow Z as well and am kind of going for the murdered look. My tails and wheels are already black and I have been debating on getting the axel back painted/powdercoated black. I think this made up my mind…..yes I am doing it. I may wait til winter though because I just got her al buttoned up after the header install and have been driving the **** out of it (I just got her last Nov so I've been having the time of my life). It'l be my little winter project. Thanks again
It just looks like your car is really out of tune, IMO. I love the black color theme, but flat paint on the tips would only work (if at all) on a black car.
I know this look isn't for everyone. My thinking was that there isn't an ounce of polished or chrome anything anywhere else on the entire car, so I didn't want polished tips out back. I actually liked the stock Ti look, but wanted much more sound, so this was the best option. It's growing on me and it's unique, but I definitely love the sound, no doubt about that one...
