I finally got around to putting the fangs on my front skid plate rails.
They look great, and now i wont have to worry about slight scraping if i drive over a low incline or driveway, whatever. Since i had it up on the lift at my buddies shop, changed the fuel filter also. It did have the factory oem one, and it wasnt clogged at all, with 47k on the clock, but i am a stickler, as many of you are, on changing fluids and filters.
Ok.... Please explain the purpose of a couple of pieces of overmolded plastic, covering what is already there and serving their purpose? Is it b/c they dont show the scratches as badly as the painted steel? Im not getting it... The lil caster wheels, yes. This, please explain the DIFFERENCE between THIS and whats already there???

The Fangs greatly reduce the friction that is created when the skid plate comes in contact with a parking block or what ever, so there is much less chance of breakage. Friction is what damages the lower Radiator Support/Skid Plates. Also, with Fangs you don’t loose any noticeable ground clearance and they protect the Skid Plate from the very front to the back, complete coverage!
