Head unit swap out
What would be involved in just replacing the stock head unit? Vehicle has the 12 changer bose system. Can a standard head unit be connected/adapted to the existing amp/speaker setup?

There's more to it than that. You'd be better off to post this in the audio section. The Bose speakers have built in amps and there's an amp under the dash in addition to the head unit. Talk to the guys in audio.
