Don't know what you were going to ask, but I have seen some of them painted and they look really good. A vendor here on the forum has advertised the painted intake, but I can't recall who it was.

I was basically asking a question as to what paint to use or what have other members used.
I use painters choise, made by Rustolum, in semi gloss for most things on my race car. It holds up very well, and I've used it for most of our mods. I'm getting ready to pull the cowl on the vette, and paint it and the wiper arms with it. They're fadded pretty good.

make sure and give it a good wipe down with cleaner, let it dry, i have read here a few times that if it is used it would be a good idea to clean it in dawn dish soap as well to get rid of any oil soaked into the finish. people have also recommended sanding as well.
