In my case I will have to wait until it's not only 13yo but also wrecked. Been the story of my life. But heck, it beats car payments!

BTW, isn't that like the car they auctioned at BJ for charity??

I'd rather have a '67 Convertible 327/350hp 4spd C2.

And no I would never trade my C5 in for any of the C6's out there.

It's a sweet looking car but my 99 is paid for..I'd rather keep the 99 and ad SS Chevelle to the stable along with a new daily driver..

My C5 isn't going anywhere. I would not trade it for any C6. Now, I wouldn't mind giving it a little brother but, even if I could afford it, I couldn't bring myself to pay that much. When I look at the original window sticker for my '99 I think "Man, that guy (the original owner) paid way too much!" He paid $7K over sticker in "additional dealer markup."

It is ok, but not my favorite. But, I am not a vert fan, and also not really a white fan. If I was buying a C6 and money was not an issue, would go ZR1, then Z06, then coupe GS, then reg Coupe, and verts would be last. just not my thing.

Give me one of the Carbon Z06's any day. Maybe the Hennessy version. I'm keeping the 97' C5 I already have. I'll continue to upgrade it until I'm totally satisfied with it's performance and drive. Then, hopefully by that time, some version of the widebody C6 will selling for a reasonable price and I can add one to the stable and start upgrading it! I would honestly be happy with a C6 Z06 but it will never happen. Just don't make that kind of coin. I will say that the new convertable is the hottest convert ever of any Vette. I would sure love to have a 63' split window as well. That's always been my favorite.
