How did you do the rear panel and get the tape lines so that when u removed the tape the plati dip didnt pull up with it ? I have the same rims and am going to try that gunmetal gray they have and I also want to try the back panel.

I don't care for white normally but your car looks bad-***. The wheels look great, really sets it off.

When we were kids, my friend and I took 18 cans of lime green spray paint to his mom's white Chevy Biscane. (sp?) He didn't tell me until after we were done that he didn't ask his mom yet.

If one more piece of that damn clear coat flakes off I'm going to dip or wrap the whole thing!

I like the idea of plastidipping the front end with a bunch of coats to act as a makeshift bra. Not sure how effective it would be though.

Eastwood ElistiWrap video. I wonder if you could use their clear product to protect the front end and fender panels?

This was featured on the front page of the forum today. I think it looks pretty sharp with that color. Not sure if I would do it not though. Can think of a lot of other mods I'd rather spend my money on first!

I am contemplating plasti dipping my white gs. I'm a ex car painter by trade and have a shop with a booth I can access when I need to paint something. I like the idea of plasti dip as I can change the color to whatever without it being permanent. When it's time to sell it all peels back off without killing the value by having a all over paint job

You guys should check out the new plastidip stuff called AutoFlex. Looks just like paint and peel-able. You can even wet sand it.

Looks promising. I always thought if they could create the formula to eliminate the textured look and add real gloss they would have a real winner

I plastidipped my RSX matte white in my garage last year.

One word of advice if you choose a light color... be sure to use some kind of sealant or glossifier to seal the light color and hopefully make the finish less porous.

I left mine just matte white and the porous skin would collect dirt and grime that was impossible to get out. Eventually your fresh white paint ends up looking a little less crisp after only a few months.
