Default C5 side window problem

I have a 2001 that I purchased new. Its stored every winter and only has 21000 miles. Today I got it out, and the passenger window was only working intermittenly. Anybody have any ideas?

Not to be funny, but lets use our brain here.

It could be the motor is going.

It could be corrosion in the connector.

It could be the actual mechanism that the glass rides on, lack of lubrication........

Other words, you need to do some type of self help, so that we may help you. Like take off the door panel and operate the window so that you can visually see whats going on and check the connectors.......This would be a lot better than, "hey my window don't work, any suggestions"?

Again in other words, Help Us To Help U..............

Part of the problem is the window is not used. It needs to go up and down at least several times a week or it will start sticking. If the window is not making any noise you can push the window down as you hit the switch. Once it gets past the flat spot on the motor it should go up and down. OK. This is a symptom of cars that are not driven enough. If you do this and it sticks you can bang on the door by the grab handle while holding the switch down/up and get it free. Part of your driver routine should be to cycle the windows.

The door modules have relays that also get sticky at times. I try to keep a spare door module and window regulator for each door on hand. If you like I can give you the name of a guy that makes race cars out of vettes and sells these parts at a pretty good price when he has them.
