I just picked up a 99 c5 6 speed tuesday night. I am noticing it wants to wander around the road a lot and seems to ride pretty rough.. Is there any way to know if the car has been lowered and that may be whats causing is?? I dont know alot about the corvette yet. I only have about 2 hours of seat time in it... The rear tires are wore down on tread but i dont think that is the cause... Any sugestions on what to check for? thanks in advance.
A lowered car won't cause it to wander. Sounds like your rear tires need replacing and an alignment done. Might as well replace the sway bar endlinks with aluminum ones while you're under there. Wandering (aka tramlining) can be caused by tires wider than the "ruts" in the road. Try driving on a variety of roads to see if it is consistent.

Could be your tires need replacement as well as a check on the status of your suspension parts and alignment. For sure check the shocks to see if they are still good.
Put some goodyear run flats on the rear. Made it ride like a whole new car. Rides a little rough yet. Im sure thats from what you guys are saying bein runflats.. Thanks for all the help...
