Okay, so here's the deal. My a/c works, but for some reason, no matter what setting it's on, the vast majority of the air goes through the front defroster vent, and I can't figure out why...
I haven't ever noticed this before, because honestly, this is the first time I've really needed the a/c since I bought the car in September. But now that the heat in SoCal is picking up, this is becoming a dire situation... Black car plus black interior plus sitting in the sun all day at work, I need the a/c to be blowing at me, haha.
So my question is, do any of you know what the issue could be? Something broken?
Thanks in advance for your replies
Usual cause here is the vacuum line is disconnected from the MAP sensor through the firewall to the hvac controller. Look at the firewall in the engine compartment for a small black plastic line. Especially check it where it runs behind the battery.
