Mine hibernates from Oct.31 til March 1 ,or when the roads are clean and no white salt residue remains. The joys of Vermont ,BUT we have some great twisties here.
Put the insurance back on my C5 in March. Usually I let it sleep in until May so I had to pony up extra cash this year for insurance. But I've gotten my money's worth so far.
Nice weather, I got the itch to cruise a couple of times. Took car for rides from storage location. She coming home this weekend. Cruise nights in my area start this week. Will be detailing tomorrow.
I never put mine in storage. It's a car, not a fur coat..........
Some people, like myself, dont have a choice...unfortunately. Maybe if I lifted it 12-24" and put some all terrains on it I could drive it in the winter? But I also have a truck for that

I understand. We don't have harsh winters here anymore, and mine is not a daily driver, so it's available on nice days all winter.

There are nice days where id love to take it out, but wouldnt get outta the drive-way. Ice is brutal then all the gravel they use on the roads wouldnt help...
My C6 has been out since early March (when I drove it home from the dealer) and a few other times...weather has been pretty mild here. The C5 vert came out for the first time last weekend. The road sweepers have been out so its pretty much 'vette drivin' time for me now...until early Oct.
We've been luck in the northeast, had a mild winter with very little snow..Mine is always out year round(as long as there's no snow/salt on the ground)
