Default cruise control

I couldn't get the cruise to work today. I checked the fuse and its good. Does the traction control have to be off for cruise to work?
Not that I use it that much but I like everything to work properly.

Nope.

E Brake pulled up a few clicks? Could happen while you're cleaning by accident.

Check the setting of the cruise control release switch on the clutch pedal. Mine was way out of adjustment...easy fix.

The cruise control will work with traction control on. Could you perhaps have a brake switch that is stuck or a stop lamp switch that is stuck? Just throwing out some guesses.

My guess, is that the switch by your pedal is bad.

It could be one of a few switches

Check the codes and post up. It should show which one has failed.

As posted earlier, the most likely cause is either one of the switches on the brake or clutch pedal. They just have plastic retainers that snap in and can back out pretty easily. Try lifting up on either pedal with the top of your foot and see if that lets you engage cruise.

Sounds like you need to pull off the plastic cover and check them out.
